Disneyland Paris Studios to Be Renamed Disney Adventure World

(eap) After the Disney hotels and the Disney Village have been modernised and expanded at Disneyland Paris in recent years, the focus in the near future will now be on new developments in the Walt Disney Studios Park. As announced today, with the opening of the new “World of Frozen” it will be renamed Disney Adventure World – World of Frozen is expected to open in 2025. Plans foresee to expand the park by almost twice its area.

This significant evolution inspired us to rename the Park, heralding a vibrant new chapter for Disneyland Paris. The new name will officially take effect coinciding with the grand opening of our next themed land, World of Frozen, marking a harmonious start to this exciting new era. With our commitment to pushing the boundaries of immersion and innovation, we’re crafting breathtaking new experiences and spectacular moments at Disney Adventure World that will resonate more than ever with our guests. © Disney In addition to the new “World of Frozen”, another new adventure world will await visitors in the future, the concept and design of which are currently being finalized by the Disney Imagineers. Also, construction work on the existing entrance area of the park is due to start this month. The new entrance building, which will be named “World Premiere”, is scheduled to open in spring 2025. Access to the park’s adventure worlds will be provided via the “Adventure Way”, a promenade surrounded by themed gardens. As guests stroll through this area, they will discover “Raiponce Tangled Spin”, a new Tea Cup Spinner family attraction inspired by the popular Disney animated film “Tangled”. In addition to the new features at Wald Disney Studios Park (soon Disney Adventure World), visitors can also look forward to several new features throughout the entire resort:

Shows

Disneyland Paris is presenting two new shows this year. On May 25, “Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland” will celebrate its premiere and at the end of the year, the Marvel Avengers Campus will be the setting for a new Marvel evening show combining projections, special effects and music.

Disney Village

Also, the modernization work in Disney Village is progressing. As part of a complete redesign and renaming of most of the existing retail stores, two new Disney store concepts will be introduced by the end of the year: a lifestyle store where clothing, jewellery and accessories can be purchased and a Disney home store with a selection of decorative objects and Disney collectibles. Later, the current Disney Store will unite all the major Disney franchises under one roof. Part of the store will offer a seasonal assortment that is tailored to the resort’s festivities or the latest Disney films.

Hotels

Following the reopening of the Disneyland Hotel in January, the next work on the resort’s accommodation options was announced today. All the bungalows at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch are to be gradually renovated to offer guests a modern and comfortable stay.
