Details on Coming New Peppa Pig Theme Park in Texas

(eap) Merlin Entertainments and Hasbro recently announced details of the Peppa Pig Park opening in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX in 2024. The park, which is aimed at families with preschool children, will feature five rides as well as seven play structures and a water playground. Visitors can look forward to the following attractions:

• “Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster” (a family coaster supplied by Zamperla) – The youngest visitors will experience their first roller coaster ride in Daddy Pig’s bright red car.
• “Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride” – In the family-friendly balloon carousel ride (from Technical Park), visitors will be able to enjoy a great view of the park grounds.
• “Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride” – In the carousel, park guests will ride round in small “boats”.
• “Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure” – Riding on friendly dinosaurs, children will discover prehistoric surprises around every corner of Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Park. Children can be accompanied by adults.
• “Mr. Bull’s High Striker” – A child-friendly free-fall tower awaits visitors in the fairground-themed area.

In addition to the attractions mentioned above, various playgrounds will allow Peppa Pig fans to immerse themselves in the colourful world of the famous pink piglet. There will also be a show stage and a cinema where visitors can watch various episodes of the Peppa Pig series. After the Peppa Pig Theme Park opening in Florida in 2022, the location in North Texas will be the second in the US. In Europe, the first stand-alone Peppa Pig theme park will open next year close to Legoland in Günzburg, Germany. ■
