Disneyland Paris Honours the Reopening of Notre-Dame with its Own Show

(eap) To mark the reopening of the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, Disneyland® Paris is presenting an evening show created especially for this occasion. Until next week, Saturday, December 14, projections, drone choreography and effects will transport guests into the world of the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”.

Guided by “Clopin”, the mischievous narrator, guests discover a series of scenes in which Disney characters such as “Quasimodo” and “Esmeralda” come to life to the rhythm of iconic songs. The musical composition played during the show, recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London with the London Symphony Orchestra, is a tribute to the timeless melodies of the film. The new version reinterprets the songs from the original film in a modern and powerful arrangement and presents motifs from The Hunchback of Notre Dame in a new way.

With modern projections in combination with drones, fireworks and water features, the show is a special experience. It will be staged every evening until December 14, temporarily replacing the “Disney Electrical Sky Parade”. ■
