England: Holovis Moves to New Headquarters in Hinckley, UK
British Holovis company, which is known in the leisure and attractions industry for its AV and media technology, has recently relocated its headquarters to new premises in Hinckley (Leicestershire, UK). The new headquarters building comprises a total space of just under 5,000 square meters, some 2,700 square meters of which will be used as build space for new projects. Also, the building provides a full innovation R&D capability to fast-track the development of proprietary Holovis IPs such as HoloTrac (cf. EAP 1/2020).
In addition, there is an over 600 square meter-large demonstration facility where customers can learn more about the functionality of different Holovis technologies. On arrival, visitors are greeted by a virtual concierge that uses attribute recognition technology to correctly identify them, securely log them in and connect them with their Holovis host. As soon as the time is right, depending on the further development of the Corona pandemic, Holovis plans to invite customers, partners and suppliers for an inauguration event to their new headquarters.
“[…] This has been a challenging year for all businesses, especially in the entertainment and hospitality sectors we work in, but we are now seeing positive signs of recovery, with themed entertainment destinations reopening, global design and installation projects resuming and new contracts being signed,” says Stuart Hetherington, CEO of Holovis, and continues: “Innovation remains central to the company's mission and we are excited to be on track to continue our strong growth trajectory well into 2021 working with our global clients to deliver truly world-class experiences. Our new headquarters is known internally as the constellation and will become the beating heart of Holovis, working with our international teams and offices, who will continue to play an essential part in our strategic growth.” Today, Holovis employs over 150 people worldwide.
