England: Interactive Space-Themed Exhibition Planned for Life Science Centre Newcastle

In collaboration with KCA London – a consultancy agency specialized in exhibition concepts for museums and leisure attractions – British Paragon Creative company is currently designing a new interactive exhibition area with space theming for the Life Science Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne, which is set to be presented to visitors from May 2019.

A number of thirty to forty (partly interactive) exhibits are to be installed on an area of some 550 square meters. The exhibition will highlight our solar system and the surrounding galaxy, the benefits of space technology in everyday life and human space exploration, aiming to deliver “STEM” learning (“STEM”: Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) accessible for all visitors.

Another project of Paragon Creative and KCA London was realized at Life Science Centre in 2016 with the “Brain Zone”, an interactive edutainment area for children aged seven years and older, who can try out “memory” games and optical illusions (amongst other features).

Incidentally, this spring the Life Science Centre was able to set a new visitor record: During the two-week Easter holidays, almost 21,000 visitors took advantage of the attraction’s various edutainment offerings, an increase of ten percent over the previous “Easter record”. (eap)
