England: Merlin Entertainments and Picsolve Extend Partnership
Merlin Entertainments and Picsolve, provider of digital content capture systems, have recently extended their partnership for the London-based midway attractions Madame Tussauds, the Coca-Cola London Eye and the London Dungeon for five more years. In addition, the deal includes the implementation of Picsolve’s photo technology in the DreamWorks Tours: Shrek’s Adventure! interactive walkthrough attraction and the SEA LIFE aquarium in London. Visitors to all these Merlin sites will be able to try out Picsolve’s “Green Screen”-, “Experience Wall”- and the latest version of the “Super Selfie”-image capture technology to take home their personal creative pictures.
“Picsolve’s position as a market-leader and its continuous investment in technological innovation, makes it an obvious choice to power content capture at our world-renowned visitor destinations in London. […] We look forward to working closely with them over the next five years, enhancing the experience for all those who visit us,” comments Martyn Brett-Lee, Commercial Director, Merlin Entertainments.
David Hockley, CEO of Picsolve, adds, “London is home to some of the world’s most iconic attractions, so it’s important visitors are able to capture their experience as they enjoy the best the city has to offer. […] We’re looking forward to seeing the new version of our Super Selfie technology and hope many more partners will realise the benefits to their attractions.” (eap)
