Europa-Park Records Five Million Visitors

Actually, the trend was already evident as early as the summer season: On 16 December, a record of five million visitors was cracked the first time in the 39-year history of Europa-Park. Shortly before the 40^th anniversary of Germany’s biggest theme park, the facility could mark the strongest growth in its history. In particular, the newest major attraction “Arthur – In the Kingdom of the Minimoys” has attracted many visitors in 2014. The park also shows a double-digit increase in visitor numbers from France. Ronny Richter from Neuffen, Germany was welcomed as the five millionth visitor of the park and was able to spend a free day in Germany's biggest theme park together with his family. In addition, the family from Swabia was able to enjoy an accommodation voucher and plush mascots. The winter season at Europa-Park runs until 11 January 2015. (eap)
