Faarup Sommerland Opens New Slides

(eap) Two new slides were opened yesterday at Faarup Sommerland‘s Aquapark. The water park is open regularly during the summer months from June to August and expands the park‘s offer for visitors. With its wide range of attractions, from thrill slides to a water playground, the aquapark is suitable for visitors of all ages. According to the park, the new slides are the largest water slides in Denmark.

The „Flodraketten” racer slide includes both closed tube sections and open half-pipe elements in which those sliding can see each other. The „Boomerango” tube slide called “Stormfloden” includes both Bommerango and Tailspin elements. According to WhiteWater West, the manufacturer of both slides, this is the world’s first installation of this type of slide that combines these elements.
