(eap) Familypark, located on Lake Neusiedl in Austria, recently announced details about its new attraction. The park is getting a “Wild Swing” from the German manufacturer ART Engineering, which will be named “Azurgo”. In the spirit of its theming, little dragons will be prepared for their first flights in the giant blue swing. From April onwards, park visitors from a height of 100 cm (from 120 cm unaccompanied by an adult) will be able to experience a ride on the new attraction at a height of up to 12 meters.

“We are currently making the final preparations for the start of the season and are very much looking forward to presenting the Azurgo giant swing to our guests as soon as possible. I am convinced that with this attraction we are able to create another special experience for families that contributes to the uniqueness of our park,” explains Lisa Wagner-Körmendi, Head of Marketing & Sales at Familypark.

The Wild Swing is currently being built on the site of the former “Oldtimer Convoy” attraction, which is experiencing a revival as the “Oak Convoy” with new theming in a section of the former fairy-tale forest. This will also be revamped as the old figures, which were on loan to the park, have been returned at the owner’s request. As part of this, the fairy-tale forest is going to receive three new figures up to four meters high from manufacturer Themics and various fairy-tale scenes will be reinterpreted. In addition, events such as the “Easter Festival”, the “Solstice Festival” and “Flippo’s Summer Party” await visitors this year. The Familypark opens its gates on March 23. ■
