Filmpark Babelsberg Launches „Street Luge“ in 4D

The answer to the question of whether it is particularly cool or rather simply stupid to lie down on a specially designed skateboard and ride down a paved road at high speeds may vary according to the age and intellect of the interviewee … “Street Luge”, this is the name of the extreme gravity-powered activity, was born in California and Washington and has found countless followers since 1975. In 2000, a film about the wild skateboarding adventure was shown at Filmpark Babelsberg for the first time. The park stopped showing the movie when their 4D cinema was equipped with digital technology. The 1 of May 2013 saw the comeback of the film’s newest digitally remastered version in 3D. Visitors of the film park can experience the adventure now in the 4D action cinema. (eap)
