Florida/USA: The Orlando Eye Newly Runs as The Coca-Cola Orlando Eye
The Orlando Eye, which opened last year as Orlando’s new observation wheel (cf. EAP news from March 9th, 2015), recently became The Coca-Cola Orlando Eye running in a new red-white design and offering enhanced guest experiences. The terminal of the 122 meter (400 feet) high Merlin-attraction has been re-designed in Coca-Cola’s signature colors. Furthermore, selected capsulas have been equipped with special décor, selfie sticks, themed tablets, Coca-Cola coolers and upbeat music.
“In just one short year, the Orlando Eye has become recognized as a Central Florida icon. We are delighted to partner with Coca-Cola, an iconic brand globally recognized for sharing moments of happiness and celebration with loved ones,” said Orlando Eye General Manager Robin Goodchild. Krista Schulte, Vice President of Foodservice and On Premise, Coca-Cola North America, added: “For Coca-Cola, our mission is simple – to refresh the world and inspire moments of optimism and happiness, while creating value and making a difference. Our partnership with Merlin Entertainments to create the Coca-Cola Orlando Eye helps us to achieve our mission together by providing guests special memories while taking in the views of Orlando in an enhanced and refreshing way.” (eap)
