Flowery Spring Exhibition in Oskarshausen
(eap) From today, visitors to the Oskarshausen leisure park near Dresden (Germany) can once again experience the “BlütenWunder” (Engl.: BlossomWonder) spring exhibition. Under this year’s motto “Castles, Palaces and Magic”, visitors can look forward to artistic sand sculptures and magnificent floristry. These include Saxon castles and palaces as miniatures made of sand, surrounded by flower arrangements. Another highlight is the herb and spice journey, which combines architecture with the scents of nature. The journey continues through an XXL castle and a sand portal flanked by thousands of plants. In addition to the visual experiences, the exhibition offers planting and gardening tips from master florists, interactive elements and insights into the art of sand sculpture making. In addition, various photo spots invite visitors to capture their visit.

The sand sculptures were created by an international team of artists: Jeroen van de Vlag from Switzerland, Kilian van der Velden from Belgium and Jiri Kaspar from the Czech Republic. Rocco Wustmann, David Gehrisch, Max Reinbold and the company Rülcker from Dresden, among others, took care of the flowers and plants. Christopher Ernst arrived from Thuringia as the new florist in the BlütenWunder team.
The exhibition runs through May 11, 2025. ■
