Fort Fun Implements Recording System for Waiting Times

(eap) Fort Fun Abenteuerland, operated by Looping Group, is introducing the “pure.AIS” waiting time recording system from Detmold (Germany)-based provider purematic in its entrance area and at selected attractions and stations in the park. The family roller coaster “Devil’s Mine” (a Custom Junior Coaster from Vekoma), for example, will be equipped with the visitor counting system so that guests get informed about the respective live waiting time, and the park management has easy access to lap times, capacity utilization, processing time and other operational data.
The entrance area of the park will also receive the pure.AIS solution, which provides the information of how many visitors are in the park at any given time, amongst other data. The system will also be used to provide valuable insights on guest behavior in order to optimize staff planning. A central store at the main entrance and the sanitary facilities in the park will also be equipped with the counting system – in the case of the toilets, this will contribute to a more targeted management of the cleaning intervals depending on the intensity of use. ■
