Germany: Start of Halloween Days at FORT FUN – New Maze & KidsOween Event Extend Range of Offerings
Today and on the next two Saturdays, visitors to the FORT FUN Abenteuerland in Germany’s Sauerland region are once again invited to enjoy the “FORT FEAR Horrorland”. In the afternoon, the Halloween program in the Western theme park will offer family-friendly thrills in the form of a the new “Fort Fear KidsOween” event with attractions such as a scary labyrinth of scarecrows and corn. The new “Rotten Farmers Market” is also aimed at families – here dark and crazy characters offer their services and goods.
In addition to the “The Forest” horror path in the woods recommended for visitors aged 16 and over, a new has been created in the form of “JunkYard”, which will offer a “frighteningly family-friendly” experience until 6 p.m. on each event day and afterwards a “scary” experience for older park visitors. In addition to the park entrance fee, the mazes require the purchase of a time ticket (at a cost of two to four euros). (eap)
