France: Disneyland Paris Celebrates “90 Years of Mickey Mouse“ with New Show Production
With the release of “Steamboat Willie”, 1928 marks the debut of Mickey Mouse in Walt Disney’s first animated short film with fully synchronized sound. To celebrate the popular character’s 90th anniversary this year, Disneyland Paris will kick off its “90 Years of Mickey Mouse” celebrations next week, including the premiere of the brand-new “Mickey’s PhilharMagic” musical show. The new stage production takes the audience on a 20-minute journey through popular Disney classics such as “The Little Mermaid”, “Aladdin” and “The Lion King”.
Furthermore, during the upcoming Halloween season Mickey will assume a special role, taking part in the colorful Halloween parade with a brand-new theme carriage. In the Christmas season, Mickey can been seen on stage with “Mickey’s Christmas Big Band” playing live music. (eap)
