France: Futuroscope to Introduce New Evening Show in February 2016
As the French amusement park Futuroscope recently announced, it will introduce the new evening show “La Forge aux étoiles” in February next year. For the design and the production of the show Futuroscope cooperates with 45 DEGREES, a subsidiary of Cirque du Soleil focusing on special projects and exclusive events. “This joint undertaking is an opportunity to pool the creative spirits that drive us and develop amazing visual experiences forged from technology and art. As we near our 30th anniversary year, this new show is meant as a gift to our visitors, an invitation to a fairytale land of dreams unlike any other in the world,” explains Dominique Hummel, chairman of the board of directors at Futuroscope. On the amusement park's 7,000 square meter water stage the show will tell the story of the friendship between a young girl and a cosmic giant. The story will be accompanied by a mixture of impressive visual, aquatic and pyrotechnic effects. “La Forge aux étoiles” will be shown 300 times during the 2016 season. (eap)
