France: New “The Lion King“ Musical Show to Be Staged at Disneyland Paris Starting in 2019
Simba, Nala & Co. will enter the stage at Disneyland Paris’ Chaparral theater (located in Disneyland Park) in 2019, when visitors will be able to enjoy the new musical production “The Lion King Show”, based on the Disney film classic “The Lion King”. The “Festival of the Lion King” show, which has been staged at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando for many years now, is still a huge hit among visitors – now the iconic songs of the animated movie will also be played at Disneyland Paris. The new show is set to offer a lively entertainment program aimed at the whole family.
Through May 31st this year, Disneyland Paris – which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year (cf. EAP, 5/17), is holding a “Festival of Pirates and Princesses”. Furthermore, the “Mickey and The Wizard” show (cf. EAP news from June 8th, 2016) started into its third playing time this season and this upcoming summer, popular Marvel heroes including Thor, Spider Man and Hulk will come on stage at Studio Theater, located in the Walt Disney Studios Park.
