France: New Attraction Planned for Hameau Duboeuf Wine Experience World
Opened in 1993, France’s Hameau Duboeuf wine experience world, which is located in the Beaujolais wine region north of Lyon, plans to open a new, immersive visitor attraction this spring dubbed “Mon Beaujolais”. The attraction will be located in one of the wine world’s pavilions.
Cutting-edge projection technology and video mapping will immerse visitors in the long history of winemaking – the story will be told through the perspective of a winegrower named “Toine”. According to its own statement, Dutch Jora Vision company has been commissioned to create the new immersive experience, working together with Mansveld Projecten & Services for the audiovisual and show control installation.
Hameau Duboeuf welcomes around 100,000 visitors per year – on a site of some 30,000 square meters, it offers a museum, a 3D cinema, a simulator attraction and an adventure golf course, amongst others. (eap)
