Freizeitpark Plohn Announces Wild Swing for 2025
(eap) After Freizeitpark Plohn opened “Dazzling Dan’s Fuselschleuder” – a new Western-themed jet ski ride from Zierer – in the area of the old lake stage at the start of this year's season, the family leisure park in the Vogtland region in Germany is now already announcing a new attraction for 2025.
Visitors can look forward to a Wild Swing from ART Engineering from spring 2025. This will enrich the area around the former heart of the park, the Forellenhof. The free-swinging, twelve-metre-high swing offers eight seats per side and is a fun experience for the whole family with a ride time of around 80 seconds (capacity: 500 pph). The family-run park is investing a total of over 1 million euros in the new attraction, a considerable amount of which is going into the theming. The mermaid theme is to be elaborately implemented with rocky landscapes, water and unique design elements.
The park has also already announced another new attraction for 2026 – it is said to be a “real world first”, but no further details have yet been announced. ■
