Freizeitpark Plohn /Vogtland: Climbing Course, Roller Coaster - … Now Second Roller Coaster …

After the success of “El Toro”, the wooden coaster much appreciated among roller coaster fans that opened last year, the ambitious park plans to install another roller coaster for 2011. According to first information, the attraction will rather be a family coaster in contrast to El Toro. Plohn is held as a very family-friendly park in a rural idyll – thus the planning of a coaster rather suitable for families totally fits into the park’s environment. The new steel coaster is said to have a track of around 500 meters and to belong to the half-timbered village “Plohni-Dorf” (Plohni-Village) that is scheduled to be completed in the next year, too. A nostalgic horse carousel will also be integrated into this new themed area. In May, a climbing course for an investment of around 100.000 Euros will be opened next to the “Holzmichelhaus”. – Freizeitpark Plohn recorded its best season in 2009 since its opening – with an increase of ten percent compared to 2008.
