Fun Spot America Adds New Attractions

Only a few weeks to go until Fun Spot America (formerly Fun Spot Action Park) in Orlando, Florida will open two new major attractions. One will be a virtually 23 meter high wooden coaster from GCI (Great Coasters International) called “White Lightning”, which will certainly not only delight nostalgic wooden coaster fans with its more than 600 meter long track. The second highlight will be a 395 meter long suspended family coaster from Vekoma. “Freedom Fighter”, the name of the attraction, will reach speeds up to 55 km/h. Both attractions are part of phase one of the park’s 4-hectare expansion plan. Phase two will include the opening of a water park (cp. EAP 2/2012), a dinner show and a food court by 2015. (eap)
