Gardaland to Build New Themed Hotel – Opening Scheduled for 2019
As announced today, Gardaland will expand its accommodation offer by investing 20 million Euros into the construction of a new themed hotel next year, slated to open on 31 May 2019. “A significant amount that will allow us to create a magical hotel where magicians, elves, talking trees and magical beings offer our little guests and their families an eventful stay in a magical, fascinating atmosphere,“ says CEO Aldo Vigevani. Dubbed “Gardaland Magic Hotel“, the new four-star hotel will offer 128 rooms with three different themes: “Foresta Incantata“ (fairytale forest), “Christallo Magico“ (magic crystal) and “Grande Mago“ (great magician). Every room will be divided in two different areas, one for kids and one for parents/adults.
The existing accommodation offer of Gardaland (part of the Merlin Entertainments group) encompasses two hotels, “Gardaland Hotel“ and “Gardaland Adventure Hotel“. Compared to the previous year, the park recorded a total increase of four percent in room occupancy in 2018. (eap)
