Germany: “Senat der Wirtschaft“ Appoints monte mare General Manager Herbert Doll as Senator

Herbert Doll, founder and General Manager of monte mare – one of Germany’s largest operator of bathing complexes, sauna and wellness facilities – has been appointed senator at the yearly spring convention of the German Senat der Wirtschaft. The senate is a union of leading personalities out from economy, science and politics, who are working together to realize public welfare-orientated aims of sustainability in the sense of an eco-social market economy. For Herbert Doll this position means honor and duty at the same time. “Social commitment is an important issue for us. We see it as our responsibility to support selected charitable organizations and regional projects, of course. Especially, when it comes to children,” explained Doll. His company monte mare supports the Westerwälder foundation “Fly & Help”, which works for children’s education worldwide, as well as the “Vor-Tour der Hoffnung”, a charity bike tour in Germany to help children who suffer from cancer and their families.
