Germany: “Sky Balance” New Wellness Area Now Open at Therme Euskirchen
This past Tuesday, Therme Euskirchen near Cologne opened its new “Sky Balance” wellness area, where guests of the spa can retreat and relax. Covering a total area of 1,200 square meters, it features a lounging area, a fireplace and exclusive suites. A total of 18 suites, which are equipped with exclusive extras and have direct access to the Palm Paradise and the spa & sauna, are part of the area. In addition, guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the spa’s palm landscape and a separate service area with a bar. While the new loungers were supplied by the company Appia Contract (interior designer for hotels), all other furniture in this area, such as the rattan loungers, have been custom produced in-house. The waterbeds in the suites are from the Schlafprofis company.
“With Sky Balance, we have created a new offer for our guests that has long been desired and longed for. With more tranquility and above all exclusivity and privacy, this now makes the wellness experience complete for many. I am proud of our team that in just a few weeks has created a new spa area that is truly unique,” said Head of Therme Euskirchen and COO of the Thermengruppe Josef Wund, Uwe Barth.
“It is a successful kick-off into the year 2023, in which we want to and will offer a lot more in Euskirchen.” In the future, the area will be supplemented by a new textile sauna, an immersive room and special wellness programs around the fireplace. Last summer, the spa had expanded its offerings by the addition of a new outdoor area, including (amongst other things) a textile sauna, the “Paradise Beach”. (eap)
