Germany: Ed & Edda Fly with Eurowings
Europa-Park’s famous characters, „Ed“ and „Edda“, are now part of the design of an “Airbus A320” aircraft from Germany’s Eurowings low-coast airline. The plane is based at Stuttgart Airport and inspires guests from abroad to visit the popular theme park.
The ad campaign is part of a cooperation between Europa-Park and Eurowings in relation to the promotion of the new “Voletarium” flying theater attraction (from Brogent/Kraftwerk), which is going to open at the park in June this year (c.f. EAP, 1/2017& 2/2017). On board of the attraction visitors will experience a “flight” over impressive European landscapes and metropolis. In several film sections, Eurowings will be visually included in the attraction. In turn, the carrier draws attention to the popular leisure destination throughout Europe.
“With ‘Voletarium’ we will open an amazing new attraction in June, which comes close to the dream of flying. Our visitors will experience breathtaking flights over famous European cities and landscapes. We are excited that we can welcome Eurowings as a sponsor, taking Ed and Edda on board their Airbus A320. Both companies have a passion for flying to enthuse their guests – that’s why the cooperation makes sense,” said Dr.-Ing. h.c. Roland Mack, Owner of Europa-Park. (eap)
