Germany: Europa-Park Donates Sweet Easter Surprise to Hospital Staff
With a sweet Easter surprise, Germany’s Europa-Park shows solidarity with the medical staff of Universitätsklinikum Freiburg and Ortenau Klinikum. The amusement park donates 10,000 chocolate bunnies, sheeps and eggs from Swiss chocolate manufacturer Lindt as a gesture of solidarity with all the men and women who are currently working to the limits every day. Christian Keller, General Manager of Ortenau Klinikum, is delighted with this early Easter surprise: “We are very thankful for this gesture of solidarity from the Mack family, because in these difficult times the clinic staff are almost daily at the stress limit and take a higher risk for the general public than anyone else.“
For Europa-Park owner Roland Mack, the chocolate Easter present is a “Thank you“ to all the hard-working people at the hospitals: “In these difficult times, it becomes even clearer how important it is to have a functional medical health system. With this little gesture we want to say thank you for their great work.“ (eap)
