Germany: Europa Park Opens Its 14th Themed Area
The German Europa Park in Rust inaugurates today its 14th themed area “Ireland – Children’s World”, which now has been completed after construction works began eight months ago. The park’s new “green island“ is located adjacent to the English-themed area and features the Irish agriculture, harbours, castles and old ruins. This also includes the luxuriant vegetation of nearly 4,000 plants, including 2,000 different grass species and 30 large trees. Covering an area of 10,000 square meters "Ireland - Children's World" especially invites families to explore its new rides and attractions. The gastronomic offer lures with a varied selection of sweet and savory dishes. In addition, visitors can rummage through the new shops and enjoy lively street entertainment.
