Germany: FORT FUN Abenteuerland Organizes Drive-in Cinema
Since this past Sunday, FORT FUN Abenteuerland located in Germany’s Sauerland region has once again been hosting its drive-in cinema – an offer which, despite the current closure of the amusement park, will continue to exist in the coming weeks in order to offer people more variety of leisure activities. “[…] We rely on the statements made by the Ministry of Economics, which allows a drive-in cinema while observing hygiene measures. It is currently the best we can make out of this situation,” reports Andreas Sievering, Managing Director of FORT FUN.
Due to the official regulations, a maximum of two adults or more people living in the same household are allowed to sit together in one car during the film presentations. Every day, the park shows two films of different genres, so there is something for every age group and taste. Tickets (from 22 Euros per car) can only be purchased online, popcorn and drinks are also to be ordered in advance. “These measures are all necessary to comply with the generally applicable rules of social distancing and hygiene measures and regulations,” explains Sievering.
