Germany: HUMANS Photo Show at Visiodrom Wuppertal Excites Visitors
Since the reopening of the Visiodrom in Wuppertal’s “Gaskessel“ (Eng.: “Gas Boiler“) building at the beginning of July, visitors have been able to experience the photo show “HUMAN“. It presents photos of indigenious cultures and natural heritage, which are projected onto a surface of 6,100 square metres. Production company SpectreLabs from Paris developed this special photo exhibition, which displays images taken by the internationally renowned photographers Cintia Barroso Alexander, Peter Voss and Markus Mauthe with the help of 29 high-performance projectors on the 40 metre-high 360 degree screen. Overall, the photo show‘s duration is 24 minutes.
Alongside the show, a photo exhibition displays additional pictures and provides visitors with more information and details about the indigenious cultures. “The reconstruction of the Wuppertal Gas Boiler breathes new life into our local industrial culture. In the past, the gas boiler supplied our home with energy, today it fills the city with creative energy in the form of fascinating shows and exhibitions,“ comments Dirk Emde, General Manager of Visiodrom GmbH. After visiting the exhibition, guest also have the opportunity to visit the skywalk on the roof of the building and enjoy a panoramic view over Wuppertal in a height of 70 metres. (eap)
