Germany: Jochen Schweizer Builds New Multifunctional Destination
Jochen Schweizer Arena is the name of a new 2,250 square meter large multifunctional destination that is currently built by the Jochen Schweizer Group in the south of Munich/Germany, which will feature the main attractions “flying”, “surfing” and “climbing”.
The “flying” area features a modern vertical wind tunnel system, in which visitors can experience air velocity of up to 285 km/h under the instructions of an experienced supervisor. The velocity is regulated individually depending on the flyer’s experience so that also children up from the age of four years can try this attraction. In the second area, which is about surfing, the “Jochen Schweizer citywave” facility offers real deep water surfing fun with waves up to 140 cm. Surf instructors also introduce beginners to the popular water sport. In addition to the indoor range of offers, there is a high ropes course located in the outer area for climbing fans, which features fun on three different levels. On the zipline, guests can “fly” around the whole complex. Furthermore, a children’s playground will be constructed in the outdoor area.
In addition to this, a multifunctional, 300 square meter congress and event area will offer room for public and private events. The Jochen Schweizer Arena is scheduled to open in February 2017. (eap)
