Germany: Karelian Sauna Village Opened at Europabad Karlsruhe

After a construction period of only seven months, the Europabad Karlsruhe opened its new sauna village at the end of November. It’s the next novelty implemented at this swimming pool facility following the expansion of its attraction line-up through a new turbo slide with an AquaRocket start last summer (cp. EAP 5/2012). Visitors can enjoy the new sauna offers including a Kalevala sauna, a cold and hot water pool, a Vihta ritual sauna as well as a new gastronomy and an additional shower area. The architects from Geising + Böker are responsible for the design of the new sauna village. (eap)
