Germany: Kick-Off – FSB/aquanale 2017 in Cologne
From today until Friday, November 10th, Cologne will host the International Trade Fair for Amenity Areas, Sports and Pool Facilities (FSB) and the aquanale, the International Trade Fair for Sauna, Pool & Ambience, at Koelnmesse.
At this year’s FSB, around 650 companies from 45 countries will present their latest developments, innovations and services to industry professionals. The internationality of exhibiting companies and visitors reaches some 60 percent, according to Koelnmesse, with strong participation from Italy, the Netherlands, France, Poland, China and Spain. Furthermore, 300 companies from 25 countries exhibit at aquanale, focusing on the operators of thermal bathing complexes, wellness and sauna facilities as well as of public pools and waterparks.
The structure of the exhibiting halls of both trade shows follows the successful “theme hall concept” to create synergies and additional business networks on a national and international level. Exhibition halls 6 and 7 represent the private and public swimming pool facilities as well as the sauna, spa and wellness areas of aquanale, divided into six theme worlds. Also, the amenity areas and play equipments are hosted in hall 7, whereas the sports facilities can be found in the exhibition halls 9 and 10.
This year, the special exhibition of the European Waterpark Association (EWA) will be featuring a “materiality – intangibility” theme, to present operators with innovative construction materials for swimming pools. Another highlight of this four-day trade fair event is the “7th International Swimming Pool and Wellness Forum”, bringing together important topics from the private and the public bathing sectors.
