Germany: LEGOLAND Deutschland Announces New Theme Area for 2023

Just one month ago, LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort had announced the development of its new accommodation offer “NINJAGO® Quartier” with a total of 72 family rooms, which is planned to open at Whitsun 2022 (see EAP news of 2 Nov 2021). Now, the resort released additional plans to open an all-new theme area in the 2023 season, which will be developed adjacent to the 2019-opened “Land of the Pharaohs“. The new area, in which operating company Merlin Entertainments invests a double-digit million sum, will enhance the resort’s ground area by another 1.2 hectares to a total of 17.2 hectares. Details on the theming, rides and attractions of the new area are to be released later.
“After we were already able to surprise our fans with the new NINJAGO-themed accommodation facility, we are now even more excited that the park will grow as well. It is a strong sign from our parent company for the great performance of the whole LEGOLAND team in the past years.
