Germany: MackNeXT Announces Next AUREA Community Event “Location-based AR – The New Frontier of Edutainment”

On Thursday, 12 August, the AUREA Awards Community initiated by Michael Mack, Managing Partner of Europa-Park, and his company MackNeXT invites all interested parties to a live event, which will be moderated by technology expert Gabriele Romagnoli and will show the great development potential for immersive edutainment experiences.

Under the event title of “Location-based AR – The New Frontier of Edutainment”, the focus will be on how thousands of users can be introduced to new, immersive technologies and how the constraints of the real world can be leveraged through the use of AR technology. It will also be discussed how to maximize the potential of powerful mixed reality headsets and what design and interaction choices need to be made when designing Augmented Reality experiences. The two developments that will be in closer focus are the „Insurrection 1944” experience and the “Unreal Garden 2.0”, which illustrate the impressive possibilities of designing experiences using AR technology.
