Germany: Makeover of “Bermuda Triangle“ Water Ride at Movie Park Germany
Today, Movie Park Germany starts into the new season and reopens its doors for visitors, who can look forward to a range of novelties. In addition to the new “Adventure Bay” theme area dedicated to Nickelodeon’s “PAW Patrol” animation series set to open in May this year (cf. our Park Report in EAP 2/19 & EAP News from Jan 8th, 2019), the park’s existing “Bermuda Triangle” water dark ride will receive a new show concept and theming. The attraction will be closed for renovation works until June this year and reopen under its new name of “Area 51 – Top Secret” in due time for the local summer holidays. Thematically, the redesigned water ride will be dedicated to the US “Area 51” military zone in Nevada – according to the storyline, visitors will be invited to an “open day” on the military grounds. Germany’s IMAScore will compose the soundtrack for the new experience.
Furthermore, the cartoon heroes “Wile E. Coyote” and “Road Runner” will celebrate their comeback at the park in the “Roxy 4-D Cinema”, where the new “Looney Tunes 4D starring Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote” film adventure starts today. In the field of street entertainment and shows, new character doubles such as the slapstick stars “Laurel and Hardy” will mingle with the visitors, and the existing “Crazy Cops New York” stunt show will enthuse guests with new elements.
