Germany: New “Dynamite“ Coaster Kicks Off at Freizeitpark Plohn
As of this weekend, visitors to Germany’s Freizeitpark Plohn (located in the federal state of Saxony) will be able to experience thrilling rides on the park’s new “Dynamite” coaster, which will be officially inaugurated tomorrow in the presence of invited guests from politics and industry, including Europa-Park owner Roland Mack. “Dynamite” is a Big Dipper coaster from Mack Rides featuring track elements such as an inverted drop, a helix and a zero-g roll (read also our article on “Dynamite” in our current EAP issue no. 3/2019).
The novelty is the sixth coaster of the family-owned Plohn park, aiming at the target group of coaster enthusiasts and thrill-seekers. It is the second installation of a Big Dipper model worldwide – the first one has been making its rounds at Walibi Holland since 2016 (cf. “Lost Gravity” in EAP 3/2016). (eap)
