Germany: New “Hanse-Flieger” Spins Around at Hansa-Park
The German Hansa-Park located in Sierksdorf close to the Baltic Sea coast has opened its new “Hanse-Flieger” swing fly attraction nearby the “Hanse-Karussell”. Decorated with Hanseatic motifs the eleven meter high wave swinger offers 42 seats in total – 22 single seats and ten double seats. It has been manufactured by the Dutch company Wooddesign Amusement-rides B.V., which recently supplied another wave swinger to the Zoo Safaripark in the German city of Stukenbrock (cf. EAP, issue 4/2016). In the next year’s season four King Size seats will be added to the “Hanse-Flieger”, as well as water fountains around the attraction. Children aged four until eight years can take a ride on “Hanse-Flieger” accompanied by an adult. Another scheduled attraction for the upcoming year is “Der kleine Zar” (Eng.: “The little Tsar”), a kiddie roller coaster manufactured by Preston & Barbieri. (eap)
