Germany: New Interactive Tower in Traumland Bärenhöhle Leisure Park
True to its motto “standstill is regression“, Germany‘s Traumland auf der Bärenhöhle leisure park, located about an hour‘s drive south of Stuttgart, is constantly striving to further develop its existing visitor offerings. Founded in 1974 and now run by Ines and Tobias Ehe, the family theme park recently invested in a new interactive tower from Sunkid. With over 110 installations worldwide, this type of attraction is one of the most popular family rides: By gently pulling the rope of the tower, the double seats move upwards individually and motor-assisted. The passengers can decide for themselves how high they want to go – when the rope is released, the double seat gently descends again. In addition, the tower rotates around its own axis for a panoramic view of the park surroundings.
This year, visitors to Traumland can also look forward to a new family tower by Zierer with a beaver theme (cf. EAP 1/2022) as well as some other novelties, as you will soon be able to read in our Park Report, which will be published in EAP issue 2/22 (March/April). (eap)
