Germany: Odysseum in Cologne Debuting New Star Wars Exhibition
Starting May 22, 2015 the Odysseum in Cologne will present the German premiere of the STAR WARS™ Identities exhibition. This exhibition follows on from “Harry Potter – The Exhibition” (cp. EAP, issue 6/2014), which attracted more than 200,000 guests during its stay at Odysseum. Visitors to Star Wars Identities™ will have the chance to take a closer look at the issue of identity and to get to know the characters of Star Wars on a whole new level. The exhibition has been developed by a team of experts which already realized “Indiana Jones™ and the Adventure of Archaeology” – in collaboration with Canada’s Montréal Science Center, X3 Productions and Lucasfilm Ltd. created an interactive adventure focusing on the visitor himself. Grouped into three main sections, the exhibition will follow the progression of identity from childhood to adulthood – not only in terms of the Star Wars characters and their development, but also in terms of the visitor’s own identity. A stunning collection of around 200 Star Wars costumes, models, props and artworks, including objects never before seen, will allow guests to see their favorite Star Wars characters in a whole new way.
