Germany: Opening of the Sauna Tower at monte mare Kreuzau – Having Sauna at a Height of Ten Meters
At the monte mare leisure pool in Kreuzau (Germany), the new sauna tower was opened on December 20th after a year of construction. On site for the opening were the monte mare managing directors Herbert and Patrick Doll, the managing director of Freizeit Kreuzau GmbH, Hans-Joachim Deutz, operations manager Julian Teubler and Sven Drewlo, managing director of the executing architectural firm soluto plan GmbH, as well as District Administrator Wolfgang Spelthahn and members of the supervisory board.
The sauna bears its name because guests can take a sauna at a height of ten meters. The front of the 60 square meter sauna, which can accommodate up to 50 guests, is completely glazed and thus offers visitors a panoramic view of the surrounding Rur-Eifel recreational area. Not only a beautiful view, but also a special infusion can be enjoyed in the sauna. For the infusion, specially produced infusion brews and natural essential oils as well as specific incense ceremonies are used according to the “pure nature“ philosophy developed by monte mare. (eap)
