Germany: Outdoor Area of AGGUA Troisdorf Bathing and Sauna Complex to Undergo Modernization

The supervisory board of TroiKomm GmbH, operator of Germany’s AGGUA Troisdorf bathing and sauna complex near Cologne, has recently agreed on the modernization of the venue’s outdoor area. In a first step, plans for a new outdoor pool made of stainless steel will be put in concrete terms: The pool is to be constructed adjacent to a dike and designed for the different needs of the bathing guests. A related deck with sun loungers will directly connect the outdoor pool area with the existing indoor bathing facility, promoting the parallel use of both areas.

In addition to the new outdoor pool, the management team of AGGUA Troisdorf has been assigned with the concept development for the entire outdoor area, which is set to feature a versatile leisure offer for families in the future. A total of 4.2 million Euros is set aside for the modernization. This year’s outdoor pool season will not be affected by the planned measurements. (eap)
