Germany: Personnel Changes at Heide Park Resort

As Germany’s Heide Park Resort recently announced, it has reorganized the management of its marketing and communication departments. On November 16, 2015 Birte Leiner (pictured) has taken over the position of Marketing Director, in which she directly reports to the amusement park’s Managing Director Sabrina de Carvalho. Leiner has gained more than 15 years of marketing experience in the FMCG sector, amongst others at Nestlé and Mondelez. Most recently, she worked for Britvic and the Iglo Group.

Since December 1, 2015 Carsten Brandt, aged 39, has been Heide Park’s new Head of PR. In his new role, he is not only responsible for the park’s external and internal communication but also acts as spokesman. Previously, he served as spokesman for the brands mobilcom-debitel and Gravis at freenet Group. During the last twelve years, he advised customers such as Knorr and Otto as well as eBay and PayPal Germany. Brandt replaces Romana Voet, who led the communication department for three years, and now has been promoted to the new Head of Marketing. In their new positions, Voet and Brandt both report to Birte Leiner.

“With these three newly appointed key functions, we were able to effectively strengthen our communication department at Heide Park Resort. The newly formed teams are already working hard on the communication strategy for the start of season 2016,” Sabrina de Carvalho explains. (eap)
