Germany: Phantasialand Announces Opening of Its New „Klugheim“ Theme Area
As announced today, the German amusement park Phantasialand located in the city of Brühl will open its new mystery theme area “Klugheim” on June 30th this year. Fans have been following the progress of the construction works of the two new super coasters “TARON” and “RAIK”, which will be located in the new area, for months. With “TARON” the park, according to its own statement, currently owns the fastest and longest multi-launch coaster of the world. Manufactured by Intamin, its tracks cross 116 times during the ride (cf. EAP news from September 9th, 2015). The second novelty will be the family-boomerang “RAIK” from Vekoma, which is also record-breaking as the fastest and longest boomerang worldwide at the moment. (eap)
