Germany: Sauna World at Therme Erding Celebrates 10th Anniversary
Since its opening on March 31st, 2007, the sauna world at Germany’s Therme Erding has become a paradise for relaxation. Starting with 24 sauna facilities in its opening year, today the offer includes twelve infusion saunas, nine action saunas (with peelings and infrared light, amongst other features), three Roman saunas and two steam baths. Furthermore, a retractable roof, lush palm trees and turquoise shimmering water create a real vacation feeling.
Last Saturday, Therme Erding celebrated the 10th anniversary of the sauna world under the motto “Cirque du paradis” with live music, artistic shows and theatre arts. Following the opening of a Russian banya sauna at the beginning of this year (c.f. EAP news from January 20th, 2017), the bathing and spa complex operated by Wund Group plans further additions for 2017, including an outdoor sauna village with a panoramic lake view, relaxation rooms, private chalets and an alpine gastronomic offer.
