Germany: Seaside Resort Now Open at Geiselwind
After two years of construction and countless hours of work, the new Seaside Resort at Freizeit-Land Geiselwind in Bavaria opened yesterday. Located just a few minutes’ walk from the family adventure park, the overnight resort was planned by Matthias Mölter, who took over the park five years ago, and has now been successfully completed despite the most difficult pandemic conditions. The resort offers a total of 39 family-friendly bungalows designed as pirate ships or pirate cabins on around 50,000 square metres. The bungalows are lovely themed and stylishly furnished. With two bedrooms – one of which is fully equipped for children – up to five people can stay here. All pirate houses have air conditioning, a cosy living area with sofa and sitting area, a bathroom with shower, a kitchenette with fridge and minibar and a spacious terrace. Those who do not wish to cater for themselves can enjoy a breakfast buffet in the "Seeblick" restaurant, which offers seating for 250. An evening buffet and the bar "The Anchor" will also be available soon. Furthermore, various attractions, such as an indoor playground, will then be available on the resort grounds to keep children and adults entertained. Sauna barrels, a pirate mini-golf course and outdoor playgrounds are to be completed by next year. (eap)
