Germany: Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen Attracts Visitors with New Predator Safari
In addition to its existing safari tour program, which allows visitors to Germany’s Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen to experience animals at close range, the park has recently launched a new predator safari. Sitting in a grid-protected jeep, up to 20 persons can get in close contact with White Tigers: A ranger offers the majestic animals food to attract them to the vehicle so that guests can observe the endangered predators closely.
“The population of humans is growing rapidly, increasingly depriving animals of their habitat all over the world. We see it as an important task to provide our guests with a deep, emotional experience through the proximity to fascinating animals, which helps them to develop a sustainable awareness for the protection of animals and the environment. On our safari tours we educate about endangered species and let our guests feel a harmonious coexistence of humans and animals. We are very pleased that these offers are so well received and create lasting positive memories,” said Dr. Fabrizio Sepe, park owner and Managing Director.
The 45-minute tour, for which visitors pay an extra charge of 29.50 Euro, takes place twice a day. Rangers are already training with other predators in order to be able to offer various tours in the future. The park’s safari tour program also includes a quad and a photo safari, amongst others. (eap)
