Germany: Serengeti Park Receives Service Award 2016
Serengeti Park, located in the German town of Hodenhagen, offers a high service level to its visitors as shown by the results of this year’s “Service Champion” ranking, a Germany-wide survey on the experienced customer service conducted by the cooperation partners ServiceValue GmbH, Goethe University Frankfurt and the German newspaper DIE WELT. The survey includes more than 1.5 million customers’ opinions on 2,615 companies out of 304 different industries.
In the “leisure parks” category, Serengeti Park, which combines a Safari experience with classic amusement attractions, was ranked first place, followed by the SEA LIFE aquariums and Bavaria Filmstadt. The customer service experience is determined by the so-called “Service Experience Score” (SES), summing up and interpreting the results from one to three closed questions about the individual service experience. Service is valued in general, there is no differentiation into single service categories, e.g. the helpfulness of the staff or additional service offers. Dr. Fabrizio Sepe, Co-Owner and CEO of Serengeti Park, is pleased with the visitors’ satisfaction: “We are proud of this award and the positive service evaluation we have received from our guests. This shows that our commitment to constantly increasing the service level to be one of the top leisure destinations is appreciated. […] In the future, we will continue to work on improving our offer for visitors,” said Dr. Sepe.
