Germany: Simtec Develops New “FUNRIDE 30” Ride System
Simtec präsentierte den neuen Funride30 in der „Simtec Manufactury“
After the Braunschweig/Germany-based manufacturer Simtec Systems had increased its production capacity by building a new 5,500 square meter production and assembly hall (“Simtec Manufactury”, cf. EAP News f. 26 April 18), which was completed in spring this year, the first ride system has now been produced in the new premises, which at the same time is a new product in the “Funride” portfolio of the company.
The “Funride 30” is a custom-made simulator system combining a hydraulic 6-DOF motion platform with 3D projection technology and special effects, offering a capacity of 30 persons. It will be delivered to a customer in Qatar. A larger version of the Funride – a “Funride 40” – will go into serial production to be installed at several locations in China. (eap)
