Germany: Universum Bremen Reopens after Renovation Phase with New Permanent Exhibition
Following a four-month renovation phase, the German science center Universum Bremen has reopened its totally revamped permanent exhibition on March 7, 2015 (cp. EAP news from Dec 3, 2014). More than half of the old exhibits has been sorted out and replaced by new experiments and experiences. The 4,000 square meter large exhibition area presenting the new theme areas technology, people and nature offers interesting background information such as statistics, expert interviews and prototypes to provide exciting insights into the latest research projects. The around 250 interactive stations of the exhibition still invite guests to join, participate and experience. Detailed descriptions and texts as well as graphics or audio enable guests to immerse in the topics displayed. The newly created technology studio invites guests to become creative themselves and to plan, try out and build. (eap)
