Germany: Vierordtbad Thermal Bath Opens New Outdoor Meditation Realm

The historic Vierordtbad thermal bath in the German city of Karlsruhe – which was opened in 1873 and today is operated by Karlsruher Bäderbetriebe – has recently inaugurated its renovated outdoor area, which now serves as an open-air meditation realm to sauna guests.

The offer includes a central resting area with a fountain spring as well as a cold water pool serving as walk-through pool to leverage the blood circulation after a sauna session. The design of the re-opened area is characterized by natural stone surfaces, woods, plants and an atmospheric lighting, fitting with the historic building. (eap)
